INTERVIEW  WHIT J. BALVIN 

José Álvaro Osorio Balvin, known professionally as J Balvin, is a Colombian reggaeton singer. Balvin was born in Medellín, Colombia. At age 17, he moved to the United States states of Oklahoma and New York to learn English and was influenced by the music he heard there. He then returned to Medellín and gained popularity performing at clubs in the city.

MY FAVORITE SINGER Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was born in Texas, United States on April 16, 1971. She was a Mexican-American singer of Tejano, ranchera, ballad and cumbia music.  Known simply as Selena, she is considered one of the most relevant figures in that musical genre and is known as "the queen of Tex-Mex".  He began his musical career at 9 years old with his brothers Susette and AB Quintanilla;  he recorded his first album at the age of 12.  She received the Best Female Vocalist award at the Tejano Music Awards in 1987, and signed a recording contract with EMI a few years later.  His fame continued to grow in the early 1990s, especially in Hispanic countries.  Her album "Selena Live!"  he won the Grammy Award for Best Mexican American Music Album in 1993 and his album "Forbidden Love" was nominated for a Grammy Award the following year.  Wife of guitarist Chris Pérez, Selena was shot in the back at age 23 by Yolanda Saldívar, the president o...
